Magento and e-Commerce Developers

We are seeking Magento and e-Commerce Developers to support and maintain our first product — MICRO™. This is a full-time position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Compensation will be negotiated.

Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain and improve our e-commerce platform using Magento

  • Identify and help resolve threats and related issues

  • Support security-related tasks

Qualifications

  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area

  • Magento 2 expert with experience in app and web app architecture and development

  • Experience developing and supporting online marketplaces, virtual stores, and digital transactions (Amazon, Etsy, Shopify)

  • Experience using Magento 2 themes and extensions for customization

  • Experience with PHP and MySQL

  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

  • Skilled in Scrum or Agile development methodologies

  • Ability to work with small agile teams

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and creative mindset

  • Magento Certified Developer (A plus)

 
 
 

Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support our Social Glass initiatives. Business Development Manager will work with different teams based on expertise, skill-set and subjects of their preference. This is a full-time position based in California. Compensation will be negotiated.

Responsibilities

  • Work with and support our clients in the Pilot Program of our first product — MICRO™

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities and early adopters in target markets

  • Quantify business intelligence with economic models to evaluate and prioritize opportunities and product-to-market fit

  • Conduct market analysis and competitive landscaping

  • Analyze strategies to define our unique value proposition and positioning

  • Identify secondary revenue streams for our core products

  • Partner with our Government Team to analyze government expenditure and GovTech industry insights

  • Assist with core business activities, including fundraising, structuring partnerships, and communicating with customers

Qualifications

  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area

  • Excellent business acumen and experience in business development and analysis

  • Experience establishing processes and streamlining business operations

  • Experience working with government entities

  • Experience in business development with marketplaces or e-commerce platforms

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate relevant information

  • Great negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to work with small agile teams remotely

Operations Intern

We are looking for an Operations Intern to support our Social Glass initiatives. Working closely with our Operations Team, the intern is expected to optimize the ordering and fulfillment processes of our e-commerce marketplace for governments — MICRO™. Compensation will be negotiated.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of selling to governments

  • Streamline online purchasing and drop shipping methods

  • Plan and execute delivery logistics

Qualifications

  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area

  • Must have personal transportation (a vehicle/bike)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Possession of key competencies, including business organization and decision-making

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and creative mindset
