We are seeking Magento Developers to support and maintain our first product — MICRO™. Magento Developers will work with different teams based on expertise, skill-set and subjects of their preference. This is a full-time position. Compensation will be negotiated.  

Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain and improve our e-commerce platform using Magento

  • Identify and help resolve threats and related issues

  • Support security-related tasks

Qualifications

  • Magento 2 expert with experience in app and web app architecture and development

  • Experience developing and supporting online marketplaces, virtual stores, and digital transactions (Amazon, Etsy, Shopify) using Magento

  • Experience using Magento 2 themes and extensions for customization

  • Strong abilities with Google Cloud setup and maintenance

  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

  • Skilled in async and remote work, being able to work with small teams

  • Skilled in Scrum or Agile development methodologies

We are seeking Google Cloud Contributors to support the development of our first product — MICRO. Contributors will work with different teams based on expertise, skill-set, and subjects of their preference. Initially, we’re asking for a minimum commitment of 5 hours a week.  

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, manage and administer application infrastructure and data solutions on Google Cloud technology

  • Build a safe and functional environment for our platform

  • Support the tech team with fast solutions and proactivity

Qualifications

  • High experience with the Google Cloud platform

  • Experience setting up PHP environments, Magento will be preferred

  • Experience with Linux OS (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)

  • Experience setting up services like SSH, SFTP, WebDAV, SSHFS, Apache2, MySQL

  • Experience configuring services for use with Cpanel, SMTP, and DNS

  • Work with the team to refine the product architecture and development schedule

  • Support the design, implementation and optimization of our software solutions

  • Rapidly prototype and evaluate applications and methodologies

Qualifications

  • Full stack web developer with experience in app and web app architecture and development

  • Experience developing and supporting online marketplaces, virtual stores, and digital transactions (Amazon, Etsy, Shopify)

  • Strong programming, testing and debugging skills

  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

Operations Ninja Contributors

We are seeking Operations Ninjas to support our Social Glass initiatives. Operations Ninjas will work with different teams and will be responsible for the effective and successful management of our processes increasing productivity within Social Glass and making sure everything flows smoothly. Initially, we’re asking for a minimum commitment of 10 hours a week.   

Responsibilities

  • Improve the operational processes and policies in support of our mission

  • Support better management reporting, information flow and organizational planning

  • Drive initiatives in the Operations Team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence

  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of support services (HR, IT & Customer Support)

  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale

  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing

Customer Service Contributors

We are seeking Customer Service Contributors to support on-site operations related to our first product — MICRO. Contributors are expected to manage customer service queries and complaints through our different available channels (email, live chat, phone call), as well as escalate complaints and requests across other team members, when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries

  • Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints

  • Know our product and culture inside and out

  • Process requests and, when necessary, escalate to the appropriate team member

  • Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints

  • Communicate and coordinate with teammates as necessary

  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent

  • Experience working with customer support

  • Excellent communications skills and proficiency in English

We are seeking Government Contributors to support our Social Glass initiatives. Contributors will work with different teams based on expertise, skill-set and subjects of their preference. Initially, we’re asking for a minimum commitment of 5 hours a week.  

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to leverage existing public e-procurement systems and contractual mechanisms

  • Examine opportunities to streamline and standardize management and operational public procurement procedures

  • Analyze global, national, and local public procurement policies, initiatives, models, manuals, and good practices focused on the efficiency of procurement processes, including e-procurement systems/other

  • Evaluate and compare simplified acquisition thresholds, set-aside transactions, and similar procurement mechanisms and programs

  • Research compliance, enforcement, risk and financial strategies and models applied to public procurement

  • Identify private sector practices and tools used to optimize procurement processes and increase savings

  • Assess open and digital government initiatives covering procurement improvements

  • Run and analyze reports on public procurement performance metrics

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of expertise in public procurement, e-procurement programs and initiatives, purchasing contracts, procurement procedures and knowledge of international procurement best practices

  • 3+ years of working experience in public institutions or international organizations (within a procurement division, A plus)

  • Proficiency in public administration and management

  • Ability to conduct and compare extensive research in government-related topics

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities and early adopters in target markets

  • Quantify business intelligence with economic models to evaluate and prioritize opportunities and product-to-market fit

  • Conduct market analysis and competitive landscaping

  • Analyze strategies to define our unique value proposition and positioning

  • Identify secondary revenue streams for our core products

  • Partner with our Government Team to analyze government expenditure and GovTech industry insights

  • Assist with core business activities, including fundraising, structuring partnerships, and communicating with customers

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support turning our software solutions into easy-to-use products for our customers

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with our Tech and Business Teams

  • Create both functional and appealing features for our core products

  • Illustrate design ideas, product concepts, features and processes

  • Design graphic UI elements and digital assets

  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes

  • Create visual content in collaboration with our Social Media & Communications Team

Qualifications

  • Experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role

  • Experience with design software and wireframe tools

  • Have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web and mobile applications

Social Media & Communications Contributors

We are seeking Social Media & Communications Contributors to support our Social Glass initiatives. Contributors will work with different teams based on expertise, skill-set and subjects of their preference. Initially, we’re asking for a minimum commitment of 5 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement our Social Media strategy, in collaboration with the Design Team

  • Build and grow our global online community, identifying and engaging potential collaborators, influencers and members

  • Create and maintain content for use across multiple communication channels and manage a content calendar

  • Coordinate community campaigns and activities

  • Establish relationships with strategic media outlets and key online, print and broadcast media to reinforce our positioning and increase our visibility

  • Identify and manage relevant external PR opportunities

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Social Media, communications, public relations, or related field

  • Proven experience executing successful Social Media and PR campaigns and events, and in building strong online global communities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish

  • Ability to work with small agile teams remotely
