Magento and E-commerce Development Lead

We are seeking a Magento and E-commerce Development Lead to maintain our first product — MICRO™, and improve it with software development’s best practices. Our ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience working with e-commerce platforms. This is a full-time position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Compensation will be negotiated.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, maintain and improve our e-commerce platform using Magento

  • Identify and help resolve threats and related issues

  • Make sure our platform is secure, safe, stable and meet all the security standards

Qualifications

  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area

  • Magento 2 expert with experience in app and web app architecture and development

  • 2-5 years of experience developing and supporting online marketplaces, virtual stores, and digital transactions (Amazon, Etsy, Shopify)

  • Experience using Magento 2 themes and extensions for customization

  • Experience with PHP and MySQL

  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

  • Skilled in Scrum or Agile development methodologies

  • Ability to work with small agile teams

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and creative mindset

  • Magento Certified Developer (A plus)

 
 
 

Business Development Lead

We are seeking a Business Development Lead to develop the conversations and negotiations to acquire and keep new clients and partners. The Business Development Lead will work alongside our Operations team to ensure efficient scaling and help Social Glass deliver on our value proposition. This is a full-time position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Compensation will be negotiated.

Responsibilities

  • Help Social Glass utilize the inside and outside resources to deliver on our value proposition

  • Oversee customer acquisition pipeline and maintain customer relationships

  • Develop a go to market strategy

  • Create and maintain customer relationships

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities and early adopters in target markets

  • Assist with core business activities, including fundraising, structuring partnerships, and communicating with our customers

Qualifications

  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area

  • Excellent business acumen and experience in business development and analysis

  • 2-5 years of experience establishing processes and streamlining business operations

  • Experience working with government entities

  • Experience from other highly scalable companies

Government Relations Lead

We are seeking a Government Relations Lead to develop and grow the conversations and negotiations with governments agencies in California. The Government Relations Lead will work alongside our Business and Operations teams to ensure efficient scaling and help Social Glass deliver on our value proposition. This is a full-time position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Compensation will be negotiated.

Responsibilities

  • Work with local government agencies to approach old problems in new ways, while leading deals from initial engagement to close

  • Identify opportunities to accelerate our reach to government agencies and successfully establish partnerships

  • Develop the frameworks, infrastructure, methodology, metrics, tools, and plans to execute effective and insightful growth initiatives to acquire government partnerships

Qualifications

  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area

  • 2-5 years of experience working in B2B/B2G or working in/with a government agency

  • Knowledgeable about the government agencies landscape including local, state and federal authorities and processes

  • Experience establishing processes and streamlining business operations

  • Experience working in other highly scalable companies and organizations

  • Great negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to work with small agile teams remotely
